Welcome Fall!

Thank you to everyone who visited our Book Fair last month.  It was a huge success!  Speaking of a huge success, our PDQ Spirit Night was one of our best ever .... and the largest turnout PDQ has hosted so far!  We hope you all had a good time. 
 
Mrs. Combs' class had the most participation at Spirit Night and enjoyed a FREE LUNCH from PDQ today.

Most of our school shirts have been delivered, and the kids look great in them!  We apologize if you experienced a delay in your order.   If you ordered a shirt but have not received it, please send us an email at bsepta2014@gmail.com .   


One last note....our big fundraiser for the year, the Boosterthon Fun Run, has been rescheduled until the 3rd week of January (it was originally scheduled for this month). Thank you again for all of your support. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

School Shirts, Book Fair and Spirit Night

School is back in full swing!  We have been delivering lots of school t-shirts and have many more on the way.  If you haven't sent in your order, please send it in by this Friday, September 12th.  If you need a copy of the order form, please email us at bsepta2014@gmail.com . 

Our Fall Book Fair is coming up next week (Sept 15-19).  The book fair will be open from 9:00am-2:00pm Monday thru Friday and Thursday evening from 5-7pm for Family Night.  Students will be visiting the book fair with their class during the week and filling out "wish lists".  You may purchase books from their list by sending in cash or check with your child, or you are welcome to come in anytime during our open hours to browse and/or purchase.
We are excited to announce that our first Spirit Night of the year will be at PDQ on September 25th.   Come in anytime between 4-10pm and our school will earn 10% of sales if you mention BSE Spirit Night.  There will also be a sign-in sheet for a classroom contest.  The class with the most participation will earn a FREE LUNCH from PDQ!

Open Board Meeting

Just a quick note to let everyone know that our first open meeting of the school year will be held this Monday, August 25th at 6:00pm in the school cafeteria. We will be introducing our board and also reviewing our budget for the year.

Orientation and Boo Hoo Breakfast

We will have a table set up at the "world wall" during orientation this week.  Anyone that joins PTA during orientation will receive a free school spirit item (BSE car magnet, or reusable bag).  If you would like to make it easy, you can print out the form from the "Join PTA!" tab above and fill it out ahead of time.  Simply drop it off with your $6 cash or check made out to BSE PTA. 

Also we will have school shirts for sale.  Shirts are only $5 this year! Students are encouraged to wear them on Fridays for Spirit Day and on Field Trips.   We hope to have enough for everyone that would like to pick one up at Orientation, but if we run out.... more are on the way!   Currently we only have child sizes but we will be offering adult sizes as well.

Welcome BSE Families and Faculty! 

We have lots of exciting things planned for this school year.  Our blog is new, so please take a moment to look around.  We hope you’ll find it helpful.    Look for us at Orientation next week.  We will have a table set up by the “world wall” where you’ll be able to join PTA, sign up to volunteer, or ask questions.

1st grade at 9am
3rd grade at 11am
4th and 5th grade at 1pm

Friday, August 15th
Kindergarten, CSS and EBD at 9am
2nd grade at 11am
